MAX UPDATE: Local Approval Complete

As of June 24th, the local approval process for the planned MAX light rail extension from Downtown Portland to the City of Miwaukie is complete. Over a year of planning and public outreach work went into the formation of a new Locally Preferred Alignment (LPA).

Sting Snares Dozens of Speeders on Powell Boulevard

Portland Police’s traffic enforcement team was out in full force at the east end of the Ross Island bridge on the evening of Tuesday, July 29th. Over a dozen officers participated in one of the largest traffic saturation patrols to ever come to the Brooklyn Neighborhood.

Senior Stroll in Brooklyn July, 30th

General Meeting Wrap-up

Several law enforcement officers came to the Brooklyn General Meeting and provided some great in-depth information. Our neighborhood officer, Eric Webber, took a majority of the questions. Sargeant Troy Pahlke from Portland Police and Sargeant Rick Boothby from the Transit Police (via Tigard) were able to provide some really valuable information.

Breaking News: Portland City Council Approves MAX Extension
