General Meeting Wrap-up

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

Several law enforcement officers came to the Brooklyn General Meeting and provided some great in-depth information.  Our neighborhood officer, Eric Webber, took a majority of the questions.  Sargeant Troy Pahlke from Portland Police and Sargeant Rick Boothby from the Transit Police (via Tigard) were able to provide some really valuable information.  Ofc. Webber works evenings and gave his work mobile phone number for neighbors who need to discuss police matters beyond 911 or non-emergency (823-3333) calls.  His number is in our Brooklyn Resources page.

Sgt. Boothby gave some valuable insight (as did Sgt. Pahlke and Ofc. Webber) about what things we’ll need to think about regarding MAX coming to the neighborhood.

Thanks to all who came out and True Brew Coffee for the pastry and coffee.  Look for more informtion about Cheif Sizer’s visit later this year.
