Description: Planning and preliminary engineering for the Portland to Milwaukie light rail line is underway. The project may result in significant investment and redevelopment around the stations in the Hosford-Abernethy and Brooklyn neighborhoods. Now is a great time for neighbors to discuss their visions for these station areas with city planners and other agency representatives.

New Land-Use Planning Effort to for Future Clinton and Rhine Light Rail Stations

The Brooklyn Action Corps is pleased to start the new year with a new community initiative to chart a course for the future Clinton and Rhine MAX light rail stations. 

The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 6th from 7 pm until 8:30 pm at the Thelma Skelton Loaves and Fishes Center at 3911 SE Milwaukie Avenue.  Area residents, employees, and business owners are welcome to attend. Commissioner Fritz to Speak at Next BAC General Meeting–January 27

Brooklyn Action Corps welcomes City Commissioner Amanda Fritz to our January 27 General Meeting to discuss access improvements along the Willamette River and MAX Light Rail impacts on the Brooklyn neighborhood. Anyone interested in the Brooklyn neighborhood and/or these issues is encouraged to attend. The BAC general meetings are held at the Thelma Skelton Loaves and Fishes center at the corner of SE Milwaukie Avenue and SE Center Street. (Map)
