Please join Southeast Uplift for a Southeast Sustainability Network discussion about the role of neighborhood sustainability committees in this effort on Tuesday, January 26, from 6:30-8:30 at 3534 SE Main Street.

Steve Johnson, long-time local community activist, researcher, educator, lecturer and consultant will give a presentation on the importance of community involvement in sustainability.  You’ll also get project updates from other neighborhoods’ sustainability committees and hear about the successful Solarize Portland Project.

If you’re interested in starting a sustainability committee in your neighborhood, want to join an existing committee or are just curious about what others are doing we would like for you to attend.  This event is free and all are welcome.
