The BAC is holding our second annual Brooklyn Neighborhood Business Fair in place of our usual March General Meeting this Wednesday, March 23. It’s not too late to request a table as a local merchant! Just email email@example.com. Local businesses Tastebud, Bushwacker Cider, Elemental Arts, Makai Massage, Daisies and Dinos, Masseuse Branda Tiffany, and others will be available to introduce you to their specialties, get acquainted, and network with neighbors and fellow merchants.
The fair is to be held at 7PM at the Loaves and Fishes center at SE Milwaukie Boulevard and SE Center Street.
The BAC is looking to restart our weekly foot patrol, but we need a volunteer from the neighborhood to step up and coordinate the activities. We’re only talking about a few hours a month. Community Foot Patrols provide a visible presence as a deterrent to criminal activity. Active trained patrol volunteers collaborate with crime prevention coordinators and police to reduce neighborhood problems and clean up graffiti.
To get involved, email the BAC chair, firstname.lastname@example.org
