Construction is slated to begin soon on Derek Hanna’s Portland City Storage facility. This will be located on the banks of the Willamette River, just north of the Ross Island Bridge.

There is currently a discussion taking place about this project at www.portlandarchitecture.com . Discussion on this site has so far been highly critical about this project.

The Brooklyn Action Corps Board has been excited about this project so far. Project owner DerekHanna has been very cooperative in working with the Brooklyn and Hosford-Abernethy neighborhoods to make sure that our needs are addressed. The project will add a new segment to the Springwater Trail, and will generate much of its own electricity.
