Stand up for Brooklyn in The O’s poll

The Oregonian is asking an interesting question about Ross Island; what should it be? There is a poll and several voting options. I think Brooklynites should plug in the following “other” option; Give the Brooklyn Neighborhood access to their island and river.

City Budgeting Reopens, Possible Brooklyn Impact

The City has reopened a public comment period on the 2008/2009 budget after some recommended changes were added. One notable one for Brooklyn is the addition of a full-time ecologist on Ross Island.
