Brooklyn Climate Community picnic

SE 15th Ave & Center St
Bring your own chairs and picnic dinner.
When: Sunday June 12 at 5:30 pm.  This group will gather regularly. If you can’t make it this time, look for the next meeting times on the BAC website and Instagram.
Where: Brooklyn School Park (SE 15th and Center). We will gather around the 3 picnic tables in the southwest corner of the park.
Purpose of the Brooklyn Climate Community: Gathering of Brooklyn neighbors to build community and take action together to address the climate crisis and all the ways it impacts lives here in our neighborhood and everywhere.
GOALS of this picnic: We will begin to get to know each other and start to make a list of everyone’s  priorities and interests. We’ll discuss how to start working on them together. These gatherings are about building relationships with our neighbors, learning, and working together to address challenges.

DIY Cooling Workshop–learn ways to be better prepared for the next heatwave.
