The Portland Growers Alliance is a collective of local, organic produce growers supported by Mercy Corps NW’s agriculture program. They are growing fresh produce in SE Portland and Damascus, including sites in Sellwood and near Johnson Creek. For more information or to make an order, email Lauren Morse or call her at 503-858-0216. Download the CSA Brochure and Order Form at this link.

Brooklyn Foot Patrol Seeks Volunteer Coordinator
The BAC is looking to restart our weekly foot patrol, but we need a volunteer from the neighborhood to step up and coordinate the activities. We’re only talking about a few hours a month. Community Foot Patrols provide a visible presence as a deterrent to criminal activity. Active trained patrol volunteers collaborate with crime prevention coordinators and police to reduce neighborhood problems and clean up graffiti.
To get involved, email the BAC chair, mike@brooklyn-neighborhood.org
