URGENT: Forum on Police Restructuring

As reports continue to come in that indicate that the local crime rate is increasing, City leaders are moving forward with a plan to restructure the Police Bureau.

An additional public forum for Southease residents to voice concerns on this plan has been added for Monday night, the 20th of March.  Police Chief Rosie Sizer and Police Commissioner Dan Saltzman will both speak at the event.

Some sort of restructuring is almost certain to happen due to current budget shortfalls.  However, Brooklyn residents are encouraged to attend and to ask questions about how restructuring will affect 911 response times, community policing, and patrol coverage.
