New Bus Stops on McLoughlin Open for Business

In order to better serve the Brooklyn Neighborhood, TriMet has added a new set of bus stops on SE McLoughlin Boulevard at Ross Island Sand and Gravel.  These stops are served by bus lines 31, 32, and 33.

Prior to the addition of these stops, Brooklyn residents could only access these bus lines by traveling to the corner of SE 17th and McLoughlin.

Lines 31,32, and 33 provide direct service to both Downtown Portland and Downtown Milwaukie.  Trips to Downtown Portland on these lines are typically much faster than transit trips taken on lines 17, 19, or 70.

The addition of a two signalized crosswalks by the Oregon Department of Transportation made these new bus stops possible.  These crosswalks would have never been added if it had not been for the persistant advocacy of the Brooklyn Action Corps and other area residents.
