Powell Little League Player Assessments March 2nd

It’s never to late to try baseball or softball!

To help place kids in the right skill level, Powell Little League will do player assessments for kids ages 8-18 on Saturday, March 2nd. The event is at Abernathy Elementary School, 2421 SE Orange, one block north of Division and 13th Avenue. From 10 am until 1 pm players will have the chance to rotate through a number of stations. Each player should plan to spend 30 minutes at the assessment. Kids ages 8-9 are encouraged to come from 10-11:30 am, while players ages 10 or older should attend from 11:30-1 pm.

It’s not too late to register for Powell Little League. Powell is a recreation league where we welcome new players of all ages. Follow this link to register for T-Ball, Farm Baseball & Softball, Minors & Majors Baseball, and Minors, Majors, and Juniors Softball. Powell’s programs for girls and boys, ages 4 to 18. All kids play! Scholarships are available. You can also register on-site on the March 2nd player assessments.

League boundaries are roughly from Bybee Blvd to Burnside, and the Willamette River to Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. You may contact Player Agent Matt Duckworth at this link for specific questions about player eligibility or scholarships.
