Resources, events, and opportunities for feedback this month

Neighbors Together event: “Community Safety and Connection”

Join your neighbors on Wednesday, January 19, at 6:30pm for an evening discussion on Community Safety and Connection, sponsored and facilitated by the Portland City Office of Community and Civic Life.

Details on the event page:

2040 Freight Plan survey

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is collecting feedback on the 2040 Freight Plan. This plan focuses on how to move goods through the city while meeting goals for a safe multimodal system that supports economic prosperity, human and environmental health, equity, and resilience.

Take the 2040 Freight Plan survey to give your feedback. This is a good opportunity to help the City understand the challenges Brooklyn faces from heavy freight operations in and around the neighborhood. The survey is open until January 28.

Trash resources

The City of Portland provides resources for trash clean-up. You can learn more in the flyer below (PDF), or on their community clean-up resources webpage.
