BAC community events this month

Neighborhood Cleanup & Haul-Away Day

Our annual cleanup & haul-away day has returned to its typical spring date, on Saturday, May 14. Clear out unwanted items, save yourself a trip to the dump, and recycle select materials.

More details on the Cleanup & Haul-away event page.

Spring plant pop-up

Our community plant pop-up returns as well, on Saturday, May 28! We’ll have organic produce starts, Brew Dr. kombuchas, a raffle, guides for growing plants, coloring pages, and more! Do you have produce or plant starts you’d like to donate or swap? Let us know or bring them to the park day-of!

More details on the Spring plant pop-up event page.

Climate Solutions event & movie screening

The unfolding climate crisis can seem overwhelming, especially when we feel isolated and powerless. When we work together, we can support each other and be most effective and impactful.

Join us at the Aladdin Theater on Tuesday, May 31, for a free screening of Project Drawdown’s “Climate Solutions 101” and “Drawdown’s Neighborhood” (30-45 mins). The video will be followed by a discussion with the goal of finding clear action steps we can take in our neighborhood to address climate change.

More details on the Climate Solutions event page.
