See, Ride & Learn: Pedal Nation Bicycle Show April 9 & 10

Bicycles are taking over the Oregon Convention Center April 9 and 10 for the PDX Bicycle Show presented by Drive Less Save More. There will be lots of hands-on activities for everyone of all ages, including:

Try the Ride Zone- try out all kinds of bikes and gear in a city block atmosphere (not been on a bike since you were 12, no problem!)
Little Nutty Rider Zone – offering a variety of activities, plus bike riding, for kids
Talk to local bike experts – get one-on-one tips about riding, safety, gear and maintenance
Bike stunts – watch local racers perform amazing bike stunts
Urban bicyclist fashion show – check out inexpensive urban bike fashions (say goodbye to spandex)
Gold sprint races – give a go at 30 second sprint races on stationary bikes
Handbuilt bikes – see up close locally made bikes and talk to builders

Take the Pedal Passport Challenge. It’s easy. Pick up a passport card at the Drive Less Save More booth, visit six activity stations and then return your card. You’ll be entered into a drawing for a Bike Friday Quick Tikit folding bike (value $1,200), or your choice of a Burley D’lite kid trailer or a Travoy commuter trailer with two travel bags (both valued at $580).
