The BAC convened a working group to review the BAC’s bylaws, which were last updated 15 years ago. The working group produced a set of recommended changes, which the BAC board is recommending that the general membership approve at the May 25, 2022 general meeting. Bylaws changes must be approved by the general membership to be accepted.
There are two main types of changes:
- Minor corrections, clarifications, and housekeeping that don’t meaningfully change existing operations
- Changes and additions that introduce new procedures
