Kealin Freund helps an Eggstravaganza participant organize their loot
The sidelines were filled with parents, grandparents and some well-behaved dogs that came to watch the hunt unfold.
Promptly at 10, the kids scrambled to collect eggs at Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, led by Kealin Freund who stepped up to organize it after its several years’ hiatus.
Freund organized it with help from two local Girl Scout troops and Kirstin Lampi, as well as Past organizer Jody McComas.
Some lucky kids had eggs with certificates for treat donated by Coco Donuts, other candies or toys too large to fit in an egg.
Face painting was available after the event donated by Brooklyn artist Biscuits.
Thanks to the “somebunnies”who donated funds to help make this hunt eggstaordinary for the neighborhood.
