Since Brooklyn does not have an official leaf pick up day by PBOT, we decided to take it on ourselves and help our fellow neighbors keep the streets and sidewalks safe and clear of leaves and debris for all residents.
Join your neighbors on October 30th from 9 AM to 1 PM to clean the sidewalks and streets of leaves and debris to make the neighborhood safe for all. There are two meeting locations, at Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn School Park. There we will get instructions and disperse to the leafiest streets. Bring a rake, and if you can, your green compost roll cart.
The first leaf day will make it safer for our littlest residents on Halloween. The second leaf day will be on Saturday, November 20th, before Thanksgiving.
